grannies and afghan

Well I've been working hard on my afghan and should have it finished today. Yeah! (and a photo) Stay tuned. I've also been working on my granny a day. They are turning out nice. I will also post a photo of what I have later.

First week of Grannies done

Here is my first week of grannies yeah!!!! :)

I also got square 3 done of my rainbow blocks.

I even got square 4 started. I've been working on my craft area, trying to get things more organized. It does look alot better now. During one of my breaks I even crocheted a scarf......

Another one of my goals this year is to downsize my yarn stash. I really do have to much yarn, (Did I just say that!!!????) lol, OK maybe I really don't have to much but hubby and my boys say I do. I do tell them that it is multi-purpose. It acts as insulation too!! And of course they just shake their heads at me.
I would really like to make as many things possible as I can. I want to make some afghans, and I haven't decided on what else I'm going to make yet. It just depends on what I see and say hey I'd like to make one of those. Have you ever done that? I do have a "To Do List" but who knows.

So as I am catching up on the "Granny a Day" and working, cleaning house, and of course my family duties, and my other crochet projects, I did manage to get some pictures taken. And I've already decided on my next project. I really like the Heidi Bears: African Flowers here is the link. As I continue with my Granny's I may just go ahead and do one of the hexagons.

This is the first 2 squares of my Granny's. I did manage to get 3 more done during lunch today. So tomorrow I will get the next 3 done and I'll be caught up. :)

This is the first block of my rainbow block afghan that I'm working on. My camera doesn't do them justice. And now the second....

I really like the colors I've chosen and I hope when I'm finished that the finished product looks as good as the vision in my head. And now a look at the third one. It's not finished but I thought I'd go ahead and put a pic of it up too.

I have so many more projects going on right now but these are the main ones at the moment. Now for a look at my boys. I love you two!!!!

These are my 2 sons!! I'm very proud of both of them.

Blog surfing

Well while I was blog surfing, I noticed that a lot of people are doing a Square a day, well now that sounds like something I should do. Yes I know I'm a little late in getting started but I could get caught up. So now to go find a pretty pattern and get started. :)

WPS!!!!

WPS!!!! Go HOGS!!!!! The Hogs are in the Cottonbowl tonight!!! WPS!!!! In case you don't know what WPS is, it is WOOOOOOOPIGSOOOOOOOOEEEEEYYYYYYY!!!!
Ok back to crocheting lol, I have been crocheting everyday yes I have. :) And at this moment I'm on my way to go watch the hogs and crochet!!!! Gotta make sure I get all my stitches right but hey its the HOGS!!!!!
My afghan is coming along good, I've got 2 blocks done and I'm on the third now. I gotta get some pics taken, I may do that tonight, during commericals. :)

new year, new me!

A friend of mine says that this is the year of the dragon, but for me it is the year of CROCHET!!! 
I have been crocheting everyday this year, and I plan on it everyday. Right now I'm working on an afghan. I think I'm going to call it "Rainbow Blocks". When you see it you'll understand. As I get more of it done I'll get some pics posted. 
I did my projects done for last year, I just didn't post about it or get pics. 
My second goal for this year is to be a better blogger.
I decided to set goals instead of resolutions I think I can keep that better.
